Amy Mount is an adviser to Greener UK’s board.
Amy is an environmental campaigner and strategist. As senior associate at the European Climate Foundation, she supports the UK climate community to deepen political consensus on decarbonisation and secure policies to achieve net zero emissions.
Alongside her role at ECF, Amy is a member of the decision panel for the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund, the board of the London Wildlife Trust, and the strategic advisory network of the Economic and Social Research Council.
As a civil servant at Defra she led supportive and high-performing teams through complexity and uncertainty. She previously ran the Greener UK coalition of environmental NGOs, influencing Brexit negotiations and flagship parliamentary bills.
Amy holds a BA in Geography from Cambridge University and as a Mellon Fellow at Yale University earned masters degrees in Global Affairs and Environmental Management.
